Head of Finance – APAC (Energy Sector)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Head of Finance for the APAC region to join an international service provider in the energy market. Based in Singapore, you will report to the Group Finance Director and lead a global finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, statutory audit, tax and compliance across APAC.
• Partner with business leaders on project costing, margin improvement, and working capital optimisation.
• Design and implement finance systems, talent acquisition, and centralised finance operations.
• Evaluate organisational structure, reporting lines and competencies of finance and accounting teams.
• Improve capital expenditure decisions, fixed‑asset management and cash management to support growth and dividend payments.
• Develop relationships with external stakeholders such as banks to secure financing facilities.
• Optimise tax planning, conduct due diligence on subsidiaries, and establish internal controls and risk‑management procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy.
• Minimum 12 years of relevant experience, including senior finance leadership roles in the energy or industrial sector.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to advise the Board and senior management.
• Proven experience working with international stakeholders.
