Head of Human Resources

About the role

The Head of Human Resources will lead a small HR team in a fast‑growing healthcare business, taking ownership of compensation, learning, organisation design, employee relations and HR operations. Reporting to Group HR, the role will shape and strengthen the HR function across new clinic openings, service‑line expansion, doctor partnerships, M&A integration and operating‑model changes.

Key responsibilities

• Act as strategic HR partner to business leadership, translating the business plan into a practical people plan covering workforce, capability, culture and cost.
• Partner with Group Talent Acquisition to define hiring priorities, manage offer, onboarding and probation processes, and maintain a rolling 12‑month workforce plan.
• Run the annual salary review and bonus cycle, conduct market benchmarking for specialist physicians, allied health and corporate roles, and design incentive schemes within group reward parameters.
• Own the performance‑management cycle from goal‑setting through calibration and outcomes.
• Identify capability gaps and design learning interventions; source and manage external training providers when needed.
• Lead organisation‑design initiatives as the business scales, including job architecture, span‑of‑control reviews and job‑description writing.
• Handle employee‑relations cases (grievances, disciplinary matters, performance management, exits) and ensure compliance with MOM, MOH, TAFEP and other regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• HR professional with strong experience in healthcare or ambulatory‑care environments.
• Proven ability to serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership and to translate business objectives into HR actions.
• Hands‑on experience managing end‑to‑end HR processes, including talent acquisition, compensation, performance management and employee relations.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑changing, growth‑focused organisation.
