Head of Investment Advisory – Asia

About the role

The Head of Investment Advisory, Asia will lead and expand Schroders' investment advisory business across the region. Reporting to senior leadership, you will shape the advisory platform to meet client needs, regulatory expectations, and commercial goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, lead and oversee the Investment Advisory business in Asia, ensuring commercial relevance and scalability.
• Design and implement the Investment Advisory Framework, including governance, processes, controls and standards.
• Collaborate with Global Advisory partners to deliver a broad range of products and services.
• Build and manage advisory product capabilities to support front‑office growth and deepen client engagement.
• Act as Senior Client Advisor for HNW, UHNW and family office segments, managing portfolios directly.
• Participate in the Asia Investment Committee and Global Advisory Committee, providing market insight and investment judgement.
• Support the development of the Third Party Custodian business, delivering an open‑architecture platform.
• Assist relationship managers with client visits, pitches and strategic conversations, translating investment views into actionable solutions.
• Communicate market views across asset classes and research suitable advisory ideas.
• Provide leadership, coaching and subject‑matter expertise to strengthen advisory standards and risk discipline.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in investment advisory, wealth management or related fields.
• Proven track record of building and scaling advisory platforms in Asia.
• Strong client‑facing experience with high‑net‑worth individuals, families and institutions.
• Ability to work collaboratively with global teams and influence senior stakeholders.
