Head of Logistics Performance

About the role

We are seeking a strategic and experienced leader to join our regional logistics team as the Head, Logistics Performance. You will own the design, analysis, and optimisation of logistics performance, rider payments and incentive strategies across 16 diverse markets, managing a budget exceeding €1 billion and impacting hundreds of thousands of riders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and scale a high‑performing team of specialists across Rider Payments & Incentives, Business Planning and Real‑Time Operations.
• Define long‑term financial and operational targets, partnering with regional finance and local logistics teams.
• Own regional implementation of data‑science models, automated tools and new pay components such as dynamic pricing and surge incentives.
• Champion continuous operational improvement by identifying manual bottlenecks and driving automation, AI tools and scalable systems.
• Act as primary strategic partner to Local Logistics Leaders, Finance Leaders and Product Managers, turning complex data into clear recommendations for senior leadership.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in high‑growth tech, logistics, strategy consulting or analytics; gig‑economy or marketplace experience is a plus.
• 3+ years of proven leadership managing and developing teams, including other managers.
• University degree in STEM, Economics, Business or a related quantitative field.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Excel; ability to leverage modern AI productivity and automation frameworks.
• Exceptional written and spoken English communication skills, comfortable challenging senior stakeholders.
