Head of PCS (Preparatory Course for Secondary)

About the role

Stamford American International School, an IB World School in Singapore serving students aged 18 months to 18 years, is looking for a Head of PCS to lead its Preparatory Course for Secondary. The course supports students in grades 6-10 in acquiring academic English so they can matriculate into the mainstream school, both on campus and online. The Head of PCS supports and develops students and staff and leads a small team.

Required profile

• At least 3 years' experience in a leadership role, including demonstrated success as a school leader.
• Experience in an international school environment and teaching EAL students.
• Commitment to a personalised learning approach and to the intensive nature of the PCS.
• Post-graduate academic qualifications; a Master's or Doctorate in educational leadership/administration is strongly preferred.
• TESOL qualifications or equivalent.
• Mandarin language skills are preferred.
