Head of Ramp – Singapore

About the role

As Head of Ramp at dnata Singapore, you will lead the strategic direction, safety, compliance and financial performance of ramp operations at Changi Airport, overseeing all aircraft turnaround activities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for safe, efficient, customer‑focused aircraft turnaround services.
• Drive operational excellence, resource optimisation and meet airline SLA and OTP targets.
• Champion a proactive safety culture and ensure compliance with regulatory and dnata standards.
• Lead incident investigations, implement corrective actions and continuously improve safety.
• Develop and inspire a high‑performing, multicultural ramp workforce through planning, talent development and engagement.
• Manage GSE utilisation, facilities and resources to support current and future business needs.
• Oversee operational budgets, labour productivity and cost performance while maintaining service quality.
• Represent ramp services to airline customers, airport authorities, regulators and key stakeholders.
• Drive innovation, digitalisation and process improvement to enhance productivity and resilience.
• Use data and analytics to support decision‑making and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, Logistics or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years airport ramp operations experience, including at least 5 years in a senior management role.
• Proven experience managing aircraft turnaround, ramp safety and frontline teams in a 24/7 environment.
• Track record of improving operational performance, safety outcomes and productivity metrics.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Changi Airport Airside Driving Permit (ADP) & Airport Pass.
• Strong people leadership skills with experience leading a large multicultural workforce.
• Competencies in strategic leadership, operational excellence, financial stewardship and crisis response.
