Head of Retail Sales / Senior Retail Manager

About the role

Leica is seeking a dynamic Head of Retail Sales / Senior Retail Manager to lead its multi‑store network and e‑commerce operations. The role blends commercial ownership with brand stewardship, requiring a hands‑on leader who lives the brand and drives growth through exceptional client experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Own the performance of each store as a profit‑center, setting and achieving sales, conversion and KPI targets.
• Develop and coach Store Managers and retail teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Partner with mall operators and internal stakeholders to identify and act on business opportunities.
• Ensure rigorous operational discipline across inventory, cash handling, visual merchandising, SOPs and compliance.
• Act as the primary brand ambassador, communicating Leica’s heritage, craftsmanship and photography expertise to clients and teams.
• Handle VIP relationships, client complaints and feedback with a client‑centric approach.

Required profile

• Proven senior retail leadership experience in a luxury or premium brand environment.
• Strong commercial mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable plans.
• Entrepreneurial attitude – treats each store as a personal business.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey brand story.
• Hands‑on, proactive problem‑solver who leads by example.
