Head of Strategic Growth, APAC

About the role

Illumina is seeking a Head of Strategic Growth for the APAC region to drive high‑impact revenue growth across specialty segments. Reporting to the APAC Head of Region and joining the Commercial Leadership Team, you will shape and execute both short‑term and long‑term strategies that align with global and regional priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Create and implement growth strategies tailored to each specialty segment, ensuring alignment with global and regional goals.
• Lead cross‑functional teams to execute strategic initiatives, including large national genomics programs, regional segment leadership, and channel partnerships.
• Own revenue outcomes for defined growth segments and be accountable for meeting regional growth targets.
• Coordinate regional launch activities for new product introductions and enhancements, providing input to global roadmap development.
• Collaborate closely with General Managers and senior leaders to integrate growth initiatives into country‑level plans.
• Develop budgets, set short‑ and long‑range objectives, and define metrics for monitoring progress.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in commercial strategy or growth functions, preferably within life‑science or technology sectors.
• Strong track record of delivering revenue growth and managing large, cross‑functional initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing senior executives and regional heads.
• Ability to translate strategic vision into operational execution across multiple markets.
