Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

The Housekeeping Supervisor will lead the daily operations of the Housekeeping Department at Ibis Singapore Novena, ensuring the hotel meets the highest standards of cleanliness, order, and presentation for guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and manage all day‑to‑day housekeeping activities across guest rooms, floor pantries, and public areas.
• Conduct systematic inspections in line with established procedures.
• Enforce hotel and housekeeping regulations among all staff.
• Investigate guest complaints, implement corrective actions, and monitor resolution.
• Maintain comprehensive housekeeping and maintenance records, including Lost & Found logs.
• Monitor cleaning material inventory, ensuring adequate stock and proper storage.
• Ensure full compliance with legislated health and safety requirements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Required profile

• Minimum 2–3 years of hotel housekeeping experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning techniques, and hygiene standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
