Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

The Housekeeping Supervisor ensures the cleanliness and presentation of public areas and guest rooms, delivering a positive guest experience through active supervision of room attendants. This role oversees daily housekeeping operations, maintains supply levels, and upholds brand cleaning standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the hotel’s appearance according to brand standards, ensuring immaculate public areas and guest rooms.
• Conduct daily briefings for housekeeping attendants and schedule room cleaning assignments.
• Inspect rooms, including VIP suites, before guest arrival and perform random checks of guest rooms and public spaces.
• Manage inventory of guest supplies, cleaning chemicals, linen, and uniforms, performing periodic stock checks.
• Train team members on proper use of cleaning chemicals, sanitising procedures, lifting techniques, and safety protocols.
• Analyze guest feedback and take corrective actions to enhance satisfaction.
• Support the Housekeeping Coordinator and assist during high‑occupancy periods.
• Ensure compliance with emergency procedures, SOPs, and safety training.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar housekeeping supervisory role.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
• High flexibility, adaptability, and ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Good communication skills and a customer‑focused mindset.
