HPC Software Engineer Intern

About the role

The intern will join Aumovio’s next‑generation automotive High‑Performance Computing (HPC) project, supporting software validation and testing activities to ensure quality, reliability and performance of advanced in‑vehicle software systems. The role involves setting up test benches, developing test cases and collaborating with cross‑functional engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Support the setup, configuration, and maintenance of software test benches and test environments.
• Develop, execute, and maintain software test cases based on system and software requirements.
• Create and enhance test scripts to improve test coverage and efficiency.
• Support test automation development using industry‑standard tools and frameworks.
• Perform test execution, analyze results, and assist in defect investigation and reporting.
• Support requirements‑to‑test traceability to ensure complete verification coverage.
• Collaborate with software developers, system engineers, and test engineers to ensure software quality and compliance.
• Assist in preparing test reports, validation documentation, and project deliverables.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a diploma or undergraduate program in Computer Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Interest in software testing, quality assurance or automotive software development.
• Basic programming knowledge in Python, C/C++ or similar languages.
• Familiarity with software development and debugging concepts (advantageous).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
