About the role
The Regional HR Director, APAC will lead the people agenda across the Asia‑Pacific region, reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer. Based in Singapore, this senior leader will shape and execute a regional HR strategy that aligns with global priorities and drives business performance.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive APAC HR strategy aligned with global and regional business goals.
- Partner with senior business leaders on workforce planning, organizational design, and talent strategy.
- Lead, coach, and develop a geographically dispersed HR team.
- Oversee the full employee lifecycle: talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, development, and retention.
- Design and manage competitive compensation and benefits frameworks across multiple markets.
- Drive leadership development, succession planning, and high‑potential talent initiatives.
- Champion employee engagement, culture, and employer branding throughout the region.
- Ensure compliance with local labour laws and regulatory requirements.
- Manage complex employee relations issues and serve as escalation point for sensitive matters.
- Lead organizational change and transformation initiatives supporting business priorities.
- Oversee regional HR budgets, KPIs, and use data insights for decision‑making.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 12‑15 years of progressive HR experience across talent management, compensation & benefits, employee relations, and organizational development.
- Proven track record of partnering with senior leadership in a regional or global environment.
- Strong strategic and commercial mindset with ability to translate business needs into HR actions.
- Experience operating in complex, multi‑country environments.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills at executive level.
- Data‑driven with strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Demonstrated experience leading change and transformation initiatives.
- Agile, adaptable and able to thrive in dynamic settings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
