HR Intern

About the role

A homegrown media company in Singapore is looking for an HR intern to gain practical experience in a fast-paced environment. The intern works closely with the Head of Human Resources on recruitment and onboarding, employee engagement and other HR tasks and projects. A minimum commitment of 16 weeks (4 months) is required.

Key responsibilities

• Talent acquisition: maintain and update the job description library, liaise with heads of departments to collect and validate JDs, assist with onboarding documentation, logistics and orientation, and support job postings on job boards, school platforms and talent communities.
• Employee engagement: draft and edit internal circulars, curate and run engagement activities, provide end-to-end event support including vendor sourcing and post-event feedback, and manage milestone award catalogues and outreach to MVP awardees.
• HR support: research and propose gifts such as farewell, maternity and welcome packs, and handle ad hoc HR operational tasks and projects.

Required profile

• Currently studying Business Management or Human Resources at tertiary level.
• Some HR experience is an added advantage.
• Organized, detail-oriented and meticulous, independent and a self-learner.
• Willingness to commit to a minimum of 16 weeks (4 months).
