HR Manager – Business Partner & Career Mobility

About the role

The HR Manager will act as a strategic Business Partner to departmental leaders while also serving as a career advisor for employees. You will help shape talent decisions, support career development, and ensure smooth HR processes across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advice to departmental stakeholders on HR matters such as deployment, exit, promotion, performance and potential.
• Act as a career advisor, supporting employee career progression and developmental needs.
• Manage employee affairs related to compensation, benefits, awards, retention and exit management.
• Apply data analytics to support staffing, workforce planning and restructuring, presenting clear insights to management.
• Lead the Defence Executive Officer (DXO) Annual Job Rotation (AJR) Exercise, coordinating with stakeholders for successful implementation.

Required profile

• Education in Human Resource Management or a related field.
• At least 2 years of HR experience (candidates with no experience may also apply).
• Strong organisational, time‑management and interpersonal abilities.
• Independent, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities concurrently.
