ICT Trainer cum Executive (Full-Time, Primary School)

About the role

We are seeking a tech‑savvy, dynamic individual to lead ICT learning programmes and manage the school’s media and technology operations at Woodgrove Primary School. The role combines hands‑on digital media training for students with internal ICT administration and event support.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver IT lessons for Primary 1‑6 covering touch typing, e‑book creation, MS Office/Google Workspace, video puppetry, animation, digital art, Canva and basic coding.
• Lead the Digital Media Club and support the Robotics CCA, coordinating weekly lessons and project milestones.
• Integrate Web 2.0 tools into classroom learning, create digital lesson materials, test platforms and e‑learning templates in partnership with teachers.
• Manage school‑wide events by producing video montages, mixing audio, operating AV equipment and coordinating surveys.
• Oversee ICT administration including computer lab bookings, feedback systems, training logistics, software procurement and asset inventory.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma or equivalent in an IT‑related field or computer science.
• Strong spoken and written English with excellent interpersonal communication.
• Prior experience in teaching, instructional design or executive support within a primary school is highly advantageous.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, students and external vendors.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace.
• Photography and videography, including professional video editing.
• Basic coding (text‑based or block‑based) to support national Code for Fun programmes.
• Touch‑typing in English, Chinese and Tamil.
• E‑book creation, animation/stop‑motion, digital art using Procreate, and design with Canva.
