Import/Export Customer Service Executive

About the role

The Logistics Operations Executive will provide proactive support for international freight forwarding activities, handling both air and sea shipments. The role ensures accurate processing, regulatory compliance, and timely delivery while maintaining high service standards for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate import and export shipments for air and sea freight.
• Prepare, verify and process shipping documents such as Bills of Lading, Air Waybills, permits, invoices and customs declarations.
• Enter shipment data into freight forwarding systems, monitor milestones and provide status updates to customers.
• Liaise with carriers, customs authorities, transport providers and overseas offices to ensure smooth execution.
• Arrange customs clearance activities, verify documents before release and handle exceptions, delays or damaged cargo.
• Support invoicing, billing verification and resolve invoice discrepancies.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, customs declaration or supply chain operations, preferably with air or sea freight exposure.
• Good understanding of freight forwarding processes, customs regulations and strong communication, organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
