Incentive Management - Systems and Data (1+1 Year Contract)

About the role

The Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), a government agency under the Ministry of Energy, Trade and Industry, is recruiting for a 1+1 year contract in its Finance division. The role provides timely analysis, review and data insights to the Board on management information, financial incentives and budgetary control, and involves improving and automating internal workflows through business intelligence, process automation and data visualisation. It requires familiarity with the incentive guidelines administered by EDB.

Key responsibilities

• Co-design with in-house system teams on the development and deployment of new systems and dashboards.
• Review claims submitted by companies for compliance with guidelines and award letters.
• Ensure service delivery in line with pre-defined service level agreements, covering planning, fieldwork and reporting.
• Meet with senior executives and lead engineers to check the status of financial incentives awarded to companies.
• Assess the achievement of incentive conditions through on-site visits and document review.
• Identify gaps and shape the policy framework from issues found.
• Prepare periodic reports for senior management.
• Promote awareness of incentive governance, business continuity planning and risk management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science & Analytics, Business Analytics or equivalent.
• Experience with RPA and coding; knowledge and practice in business, finance or accounting is an advantage.
• Singaporean.
