Income Auditor – Hospitality Finance

About the role

The Income Auditor supports Sunset Hospitality Group’s hospitality venues in Singapore, covering both METT Singapore and SUSHISAMBA. This role ensures accurate recording of income, performs cash audits, and prepares financial reports to maintain the integrity of revenue data.

Key responsibilities

• Enter verified financial data into the accounting system with correct coding and categorisation.
• Conduct cash audits, reconciling cash receipts against sales reports and adhering to cash handling procedures.
• Execute month‑end and year‑end closing activities and prepare related ledger schedules.
• Reconcile cash, credit‑card, city ledger, Stripe, advances and other payment transactions for accuracy.
• Identify, investigate and document discrepancies or unusual transactions, including potential fraud.
• Prepare and submit daily and monthly income and revenue reports for management review.
• Develop and implement process improvements to increase audit efficiency and effectiveness.

Required profile

• Strong bookkeeping knowledge, including debits, credits, journal entries and balance‑sheet reconciliation.
• High attention to detail for reviewing large data volumes and spotting minor discrepancies.
• Analytical ability to detect trends, patterns and potential issues in financial data.
• Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheet applications.
• Understanding of relevant financial regulations and internal control standards.
