Indian & Bangladeshi Curry Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Indian & Bangladeshi Curry Manager to lead operations at our North Indian family dining restaurant, Tandoor Culture. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences while driving financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all restaurant operations and make final decisions on guest service matters.
• Prepare annual budgets, forecast operational needs, and analyse variances to maintain profitability.
• Control food costs by managing portion sizes, preparation quantities and waste.
• Enforce sanitation standards and ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Design and execute advertising, media engagement and community event promotions.
• Collaborate with chefs on menu planning, cost estimation and profit optimisation.
• Maintain restaurant ambience, including lighting, music, glassware and presentation.
• Manage inventory, place orders with distributors and schedule deliveries.
• Resolve customer complaints promptly and effectively.
• Develop and motivate the team, conduct performance reviews and achieve sales targets.

Required profile

• Experience in the Indian or Bangladeshi food and beverage sector is advantageous.
• Proven track record in sales and business development management.
• Strong entrepreneurial mindset and ability to influence stakeholders.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Availability to work on weekends (Friday‑Sunday) and public holidays.
