Indirect Buyer – Aerospace (Singapore)

About the role

The Indirect Buyer will support the aerospace division by managing the sourcing and procurement of materials, parts and services. This role ensures compliance with company policies while driving cost‑effective purchasing decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end sourcing and procurement activities to meet operational needs.
• Source, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to obtain quality items at competitive prices.
• Review quotations, conduct cost analysis and recommend optimal purchasing decisions.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure on‑time delivery and resolve supply issues.
• Maintain accurate procurement records in the ERP system, including vendor, material and pricing data.
• Drive cost‑reduction initiatives, supplier development and risk mitigation strategies.
• Monitor supplier performance using quality, delivery and service metrics, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Support material planning, inventory reviews and continuous improvement projects to enhance supply‑chain efficiency.
• Prepare procurement reports and analysis for management review.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
