Industrial Engineer

About the role

Kinergy Corporation Ltd is seeking an Industrial Engineer to optimise manufacturing operations at its Singapore facility. You will work closely with engineering and production teams to improve workflow efficiency, reduce change‑over time, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse workforce utilisation, facility layout and operational data to maximise efficiency of workers and equipment.
• Minimise change‑over time by standardising set‑ups across programmes.
• Prepare time estimates for projects and evaluate time‑related factors.
• Collaborate with engineering/production to procure tooling, processing equipment and workstations.
• Coordinate layout changes and workstation moves.
• Identify production bottlenecks, analyse data and implement corrective actions to optimise workflow.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards and environmental policies.
• Provide technical support and training to production staff.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives to achieve operational excellence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing or production engineering, preferably in semiconductor or related industries.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control and lean manufacturing principles.
• Excellent problem‑solving, critical‑thinking and decision‑making abilities.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for cross‑functional teamwork.
