Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to provide first‑ and second‑line support for Windows Server, virtualization and networking environments. You will work closely with internal teams and customers to ensure the stability and performance of our Microsoft‑based infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first and second‑line technical support for Windows Server, Hyper‑V, networking and Microsoft infrastructure.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs.
• Escalate complex issues to Level 3 engineers with detailed documentation.
• Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, file services and user accounts.
• Perform routine server health checks, patching, upgrades, backups and maintenance.
• Support Hyper‑V virtual machines and assist with virtualization administration.
• Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, changes and procedures.
• Contribute to knowledge‑base articles and standard operating procedures.
• Follow ITIL‑based Incident, Request, Change and Problem Management processes.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience supporting Microsoft Windows infrastructure.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Customer‑focused mindset with a problem‑solving approach.

• VMware vSphere/ESXi and vCenter (optional)
• Microsoft Failover Clustering (optional)
• System Center SCCM/MECM, SCOM or VMM (optional)
• Backup solutions such as Veeam or DPM
• SAN storage and Fibre Channel concepts
• Basic Linux administration
• ITIL framework knowledge
• Fundamental networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing)
