Inspector – Medical Device Manufacturing

About the role

Join Edwards Lifesciences as an Inspector and play a vital part in ensuring the quality and safety of medical devices that improve patients' lives worldwide. You will work within the manufacturing environment, applying your attention to detail and continuous‑improvement mindset to inspect complex components and finished products.

Key responsibilities

• Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of complex components and finished medical device products using a variety of tools and equipment.
• Highlight and escalate any work issues to the Lead while maintaining high productivity.
• Conduct functional testing of finished devices with both automated and manual valve‑testing equipment.
• Verify quality records, including Device History Records review and product release for inter‑plant shipment or distribution.
• Control inventory to ensure proper storage conditions and movement.
• Maintain general housekeeping of the work area.

Required profile

• Secondary education (preferred) with at least 2 years of manufacturing and quality‑control experience.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Ability to use applicable tools and equipment with high manual dexterity and hand‑eye coordination.
• Full understanding of inspection procedures and a commitment to continuously improve inspection techniques.
• Strict attention to detail and ability to document non‑conformance issues in a Quality Management System (QMS).
• Team‑oriented mindset and adherence to company safety and environmental rules.
