Intern - F10 Process and Equipment Engineer (Wet Process)

About the role

Micron is offering an internship as an F10 Process and Equipment Engineer in its Advanced Device Technology and Systems department, in the Wet Process project at its Fab 10 site in Singapore. The project evaluates process conditions and equipment parameters to reduce manufacturing defects, improve material etching uniformity and strengthen process robustness in wet etch operations. High-performing interns may be considered for future full-time opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate process and equipment factors that affect defectivity, etch rate uniformity and process stability
• Run structured characterization studies and analyse process data to find defect trends and etch rate behaviour
• Develop recommendations and qualification plans for process and equipment improvements
• Explore the use of AI-enabled tools to speed up data interpretation and learning
• Produce a technical summary of wet process fundamentals, documented evaluation results, a structured report and a final presentation

Required profile

• Pursuing a degree in Chemical, Materials, Electrical, Electronic or Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry or a related discipline
• Foundational engineering knowledge from academic coursework
• Ability to interpret technical data and strong learning agility
• Commitment to a full-time internship of 5 months from January to May or June 2027
