Intern - Medical Technologist (Anatomic Pathology / Histology)

About the role

Labcorp is seeking an Intern - Medical Technologist (Anatomic Pathology / Histology) to join its team in Singapore. This is a full-time, onsite internship lasting at least 20 weeks, from January to June 2027, with paid compensation. You will learn about the assays and their applications used in clinical and commercial settings, and gain clinical experience in the laboratory of a drug development company.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse specimens, interpret and document test results
• Perform quality control testing, instrument maintenance and troubleshooting
• Maintain lab equipment, laboratory supplies and general housekeeping
• Rotate through other departments of the laboratory and perform routine clerical duties as required
• Receive instruction and mentorship, and give a presentation at the end of training to show understanding of the programme

Required profile

• Current enrolment in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Medical Sciences, Biochemistry or a related Bachelor's degree programme; other degrees may be considered
• Final-year students expected to graduate in July/August 2027 are preferred
• Able to organise data and documents effectively
• Good organisation, multitasking and effective verbal and written communication
• Proactive problem-solving and critical thinking, and a collaborative approach
