Intern - MSB Process Integration Engineer

About the role

Micron Technology, Inc. is recruiting an intern for its MSB Process Integration Engineering team in Singapore. The project focuses on reducing semiconductor manufacturing reject rates through process variability reduction, and gives practical exposure to semiconductor packaging, assembly and test processes and manufacturing data analytics. The internship runs for 5 months, from January to May 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze inline signals, process parameters and test results to identify patterns and contributors to process variability and yield loss.
• Explore the responsible use of AI and AI-enabled analytical tools to improve the efficiency and quality of project analysis.
• Apply statistical and data analytics techniques to find trends, correlations and drivers of reject rates.
• Document the methodology, findings, limitations and recommended next steps for engineering review.
• Deliver a structured analysis, analytical models or visualizations, documented recommendations, and a final technical report and presentation.

Required profile

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Materials, Industrial, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Ability to commit to a full-time 5-month internship from January to May 2027.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, systems thinking and critical thinking skills.
• Quick learner, self-motivated, good communicator and able to document technically.

Required skills

• Programming in Python, SQL or equivalent analytical tools.
• Familiarity with statistics, data analysis, visualization, AI or AI-enabled workflows.

Full-time employment after the internship is considered subject to business needs, position availability and the selection process.
