Intern - STPG PE NAND Reliability

About the role

Micron is looking for an intern in its Non-Volatile Engineering department, within the NAND Reliability team at Fab10N/X, on the project Intrinsic Reliability Validation Coverage Enhancement. The intern reviews existing intrinsic reliability validation coverage for NAND products and identifies critical functionalities that may need additional testing, helping improve validation robustness and enable earlier issue detection before product sampling.

Key responsibilities

• Review existing intrinsic reliability test flows and validation coverage.
• Map current tests against datasheet-defined product functionalities.
• Identify coverage gaps that could delay issue detection.
• Recommend validation enhancements and explore AI-enabled validation tools.
• Deliver a validation coverage matrix linking product functionalities to existing tests.
• Produce a gap analysis and a prioritized improvement plan for stronger coverage and earlier issue detection.

Required profile

• Pursuing a degree or master's in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Materials Engineering, Applied Physics or a related discipline.
• Ability to commit to a full-time internship of at least 5 months.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, good written and verbal communication, and self-motivation.

Required skills

• Foundational knowledge of semiconductor device physics or fabrication.
• Willingness to learn AI-enabled validation workflows.
