Intern - STPG Product, NAND (Product Validation)

About the role

Micron is looking for an intern for its NAND Product Engineering team in Singapore, working on a structured project of NAND product validation, characterization and electrical failure analysis. Under the guidance of experienced product engineers, the intern gains practical exposure to NAND device physics, product specifications, validation methodologies and semiconductor test equipment, including hands-on bench testing and analysis of electrical test results. The project involves collaboration with Product Engineering and cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and run NAND product validation and characterization experiments with bench equipment and engineering tools
• Evaluate selected post-qualification product changes through test execution, data comparison and technical documentation
• Analyze customer-return or system-failure cases linked to NAND design or device behaviour
• Investigate NAND performance marginalities and propose data-based recommendations for validation or quality improvement
• Develop or improve scripts and automation tools for engineering analyses
• Deliver a documented validation or characterization methodology, a structured test-result analysis, an automation script or tool, and a final technical report and presentation

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Microelectronics, Semiconductor Engineering or a related discipline
• Ability to commit to a full-time 5-month internship from January to May 2027
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and technical-learning abilities
• Clear communication of technical findings and teamwork with engineering teams

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of semiconductor physics, microelectronics, electronic devices or electrical measurements
• Advantageous: familiarity with data analysis or programming languages such as Python, C or C++
• Advantageous: familiarity with responsible AI-enabled tools for engineering data exploration
