Internal Auditor

About the role

The Internal Audit Associate will support internal audit and risk management engagements for our clients, following the International Professional Practices Framework of the Institute of Internal Auditors. You will work under the guidance of senior audit staff and contribute to a variety of audit types, including IT, compliance, sustainability and ad‑hoc reviews.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in defining audit objectives and detailed work procedures for each engagement.
• Execute internal audit procedures, conduct interviews, review documents and prepare working papers.
• Identify issues, develop recommendations and document findings.
• Perform government‑related agreed‑upon procedure engagements.
• Support enterprise risk management and risk consulting projects.
• Contribute to sustainability reporting assignments.
• Discuss key issues with process owners and management.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting, business management or a related field.
• Degree in accounting, business management or equivalent.
• Knowledge of governance, risk management, internal control frameworks and regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication skills and high level of integrity.
• Self‑starter attitude, ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel extensively.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Fluent in English.
• Fluent in Mandarin.
