Internal Control Intern

About the role

Join the SEA Internal Control team as an Intern and support the strengthening of control processes across multiple markets. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure compliance with Group policies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in quarterly ERICA testing, including sample selection, evidence gathering, documentation review, and follow‑up of findings.
• Support the update and standardisation of internal policies, procedures, and process documentation.
• Participate in reviews of key operational processes to identify simplification, automation or remediation opportunities.
• Support monthly exception report reviews across SEA markets, handling extraction, validation and consolidation of findings.
• Prepare follow‑up actions, dashboards and summaries for management review.
• Provide assistance during internal and retail audits, including preparation of audit materials and organisation of working papers.
• Offer ad‑hoc support for additional compliance or documentation tasks as required by the Regional Internal Control team.
• Liaise with local market teams, shared service centres and regional partners to collect information and support control activities.

Required profile

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field.
• Available for a full‑time internship from July 2026 to December 2026.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and high integrity.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Proactive, curious and eager to learn, able to work both independently and collaboratively.
