International Business Development Manager – FMCG / Personal & Home Care

About the role

We are looking for an experienced International Business Development Manager to drive growth of our Personal & Home Care product portfolio across multiple regions. The ideal candidate has a strong network in FMCG wholesale trading and a proven track record of opening new markets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new customer accounts in Asia, Africa and Europe.
• Establish sourcing relationships in India, Indonesia, Vietnam and Thailand.
• Leverage existing industry contacts to generate and convert business opportunities.
• Negotiate commercial terms and lead deals to successful closure.
• Gather market intelligence on demand, pricing, supply channels, competitors and packaging requirements.
• Build and maintain profitable relationships with customers, brands, distributors and suppliers.
• Collaborate with internal commercial, sourcing, supply‑chain and finance teams to ensure seamless execution.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience in FMCG trading, distribution, import‑export or wholesale.
• Established, active network of buyers, importers, retailers, brands or suppliers in target markets.
• Demonstrated success in business development, account acquisition, negotiation and deal closure.
• Deep understanding of international FMCG markets and wholesale trading practices.
• Self‑starter with strong networking and relationship‑building capabilities.
• Commercially astute, results‑oriented and comfortable working independently.
• Graduate qualification preferred, though a strong industry track record is essential.
• Willingness to travel internationally as required.
