Investment Manager – Multi-Asset

About the role

The Investment Manager (Multi‑Asset) will lead research, portfolio construction and fund operations for a Singapore‑based investment firm. The role bridges investment analysis, investor communication and the launch of new VCC sub‑funds, ensuring rigorous risk and performance monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct fundamental research and valuation across equities, fixed income, credit and ETFs; prepare investment proposals and Investment Committee papers.
• Support portfolio construction, asset allocation, position sizing and coordinate trade execution with brokers; monitor performance, exposures, liquidity and conduct attribution and stress analysis.
• Engage with investors and fundraising teams, presenting portfolio positioning, performance and market views; prepare investor presentations and respond to due‑diligence questionnaires.
• Coordinate VCC sub‑fund setup and launch, acting as day‑to‑day contact for administrators on subscriptions, redemptions, distributions and NAV production; manage investor onboarding and KYC/AML processes.
• Build and maintain research databases, financial models and analytical dashboards; apply data analytics, automation and AI‑enabled tools while ensuring data security and governance.
• Make investment recommendations subject to approval by Head of Portfolio Management and Investment Committee; adhere to compliance, conflicts‑of‑interest and confidentiality policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a quantitative discipline; CFA, CAIA or similar qualification advantageous.
• 6–10 years of experience in asset management, family offices, private banking advisory or related investment roles, with direct multi‑asset portfolio analysis experience.
• Proven ability to prepare Investment Committee papers and present to senior stakeholders; exposure to fund operations, fund administration or Singapore VCC launches is a plus.
• Ability to meet MAS fit‑and‑proper and representative requirements for appointment under a Capital Markets Services licence.
