IT Commercial Analytics Intern (Semester 2026)

About the role

P&G's Commercial Analytics team in Singapore is looking for a student to join its IT Commercial Analytics internship for Semester 2026. The internship is full-time and lasts 6 months, giving hands-on experience with analytical tools and technologies from day 1, with formal training and mentoring from IT and Analytics professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Work on retail and media analytics problems that are common across brands, on the Analytics and Insights team.
• Take on real-life projects from day 1: investigate datasets covering point-of-sales, geospatial, product and supply, DTC, CRM, TV media and online search data from more than 10 countries in the region, and turn them into actionable insights.
• Build, validate, test and deploy machine learning or other data science models into IT platforms, covering the full digital product development lifecycle.

Required profile

• A student able to commit to a full-time 6-month internship.
• Strong academic results in a BS, MS or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Applied Science or another quantitative field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, cross-functional collaboration and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python.
• Familiarity with Operations Research (optimization, simulation) and machine learning models such as tree models, deep learning and reinforcement learning.
• Proven use of machine learning, statistical modelling or econometrics in an internship or coursework.
• Knowledge of big data and cloud environments such as Azure or GCP is preferred.
