Data Science Intern (Semester 2026) - P&G Management Internship Program

About the role

P&G's Data Science team in Singapore is looking for a penultimate or final year student to join its management internship program for Semester 2026. The internship is full-time and lasts 6 months, with hands-on work on real data science projects from day 1, supported by formal training and mentoring from IT and Data Science professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Work on supply chain, retail and media analytics problems in the central data scientist team, or on eCommerce and consumer problems in the embedded data scientist team close to a brand.
• Analyse datasets covering point-of-sales, geospatial, product and supply, DTC, CRM, TV media and online search data from more than 10 countries in the region.
• Build, validate, test and deploy machine learning or other data science models into IT platforms.

Required profile

• Penultimate or final year student able to commit to a full-time 6-month internship.
• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Applied Science or another quant-focused field, with strong academic results.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and ability to collaborate across functions.
• Strong problem-solving skills, a "can-do" attitude and proven ability to handle multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python.
• Familiarity with Operations Research (optimization, simulation) and machine learning models such as tree models, deep learning and reinforcement learning.
• Proven use of machine learning, statistical modelling or econometrics in internship or coursework.
• Knowledge of big data environments and Spark is preferred.
