IT Procurement Manager – Technology Sourcing

About the role

Join a leading multinational organisation undergoing a digital transformation and drive strategic sourcing for technology spend. As the IT Procurement Manager you will lead end‑to‑end procurement activities across software, hardware, cloud services, telecommunications, infrastructure and professional services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute category and sourcing strategies for technology procurement.
• Manage the full procurement lifecycle, including RFx processes, vendor selection, contract negotiation and contract management.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to capture business requirements.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimisation, risk mitigation and process improvement.
• Conduct supplier performance reviews and drive strategic vendor management initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, governance requirements and regulatory standards.
• Monitor market trends, emerging technologies and supplier capabilities to support business objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in technology procurement, strategic sourcing or IT category management.
• Strong knowledge of software licensing, cloud services, SaaS agreements and technology vendor ecosystems.
• Demonstrated experience negotiating complex commercial contracts and managing supplier relationships.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills across multiple business functions.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities with a commercial mindset.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Professional procurement certifications (e.g., CIPS, CPSM, CSCP) are advantageous.
