IT Support Assistant – Contract to Permanent

About the role

We are seeking an IT Support Assistant to provide day‑to‑day technical assistance to our staff and help manage our IT assets. This entry‑level position is ideal for recent ITE or diploma graduates who want to start a career in IT support.

Key responsibilities

• Provide basic IT support to employees.
• Assist users with computer, laptop, printer and other equipment issues.
• Set up computers, laptops, monitors and other IT devices.
• Install basic software and perform simple troubleshooting.
• Assist users with Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365 issues.
• Escalate complex technical issues to the IT team.
• Maintain accurate records of all IT equipment and assets.
• Label, tag and conduct regular inventory checks.
• Prepare IT equipment for new hires and collect from departing staff.
• Support workstation setup, office moves, printers and meeting‑room equipment.
• Update IT documentation and log support requests.
• Liaise with IT vendors when required.

Required profile

• ITE or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field (fresh graduates welcome).
• Basic knowledge of computers and Windows operating system.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop IT skills.
• Responsible, organized and attentive to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
