IT Support Engineer

About the role

Air Charter Service is looking for a dedicated IT Support Engineer to maintain its global infrastructure, resolve technical issues and provide support to employees and clients worldwide. The role combines hands‑on, face‑to‑face assistance with virtual support, requiring a calm and professional approach.

Key responsibilities

• Provide virtual and email support for internal users.
• Manage Microsoft 365 user administration and the Starters/Movers/Leavers process.
• Administer backups, perform testing and ensure data integrity.
• Log, resolve or appropriately escalate all help‑desk tickets.
• Document and update IT procedures.
• Assist with technology infrastructure and software projects of any size.
• Conduct client meetings and system demonstrations, including remote support.
• Install software, perform desktop imaging, maintain software inventory and monitoring.
• Configure and install physical and virtual servers.
• Administer Cisco networking devices such as switches and firewalls.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of technical experience, ideally 3 years in 2nd/3rd line IT support.
• Professional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a customer‑focused attitude.
• Strong time‑management and independent workload prioritisation.

Required skills

• Windows 11 operating system.
• Microsoft 365 and Exchange administration.
• Active Directory management.
• Networking fundamentals: DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP.
• Virtualisation platforms: VMware, Hyper‑V.
• Remote access tools.
• Mobile device configuration and support (iPhone/iPad).
• Cisco switches and firewalls configuration.
