Japanese Language Preschool Teacher

About the role

We are looking for a Japanese Language Teacher to join our early childhood team in Pandan Valley, Singapore. The role involves introducing preschool‑aged children to Japanese language and culture through engaging, age‑appropriate activities. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to create a supportive learning environment and foster cultural appreciation.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver Japanese language lessons tailored to preschool and kindergarten children, ensuring content is age‑appropriate and interactive.
• Utilise songs, stories, games, and visual aids to reinforce language acquisition and maintain student interest.
• Monitor and record children’s attendance, participation, and learning progress on a regular basis.
• Collaborate with fellow educators, share lesson plans, and provide constructive feedback to parents regarding their child’s development.
• Identify children who may need additional support and coordinate referrals to specialised resources when necessary.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience teaching Japanese to young children, preferably in a preschool or early‑childhood setting.
• Ability to commit to a full‑time schedule, Monday to Friday, 8 AM‑1 PM, on a long‑term basis.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Japanese language.
