Japanese‑Speaking Sales Development Representative

About the role

We are seeking a Japanese‑speaking Sales Development Representative to join Cvent’s fast‑growing sales team. After an intensive four‑week training program, you will become the first point of contact for prospective and existing customers, helping to expand our market share in the events‑technology sector.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the initial point of contact, delivering product information to prospective customers.
• Identify and qualify leads to build a robust sales pipeline.
• Partner with senior sales colleagues to achieve new‑business quotas.
• Attend industry events and meet prospective customers face‑to‑face.
• Drive traffic to Cvent seminars and online demonstrations.
• Provide feedback to product teams for enhancements.

Required profile

• Native Japanese speaker or bilingual proficiency.
• 6 months to 1 year of software sales experience (preferred).
• Ability to make 50–60 outbound calls per day.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong initiative, personal leadership, and teamwork orientation.
• High business acumen, ethics, and integrity.
• Proven ability to develop relationships over the phone.
