Java Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Java Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise‑grade backend systems. You will work closely with internal engineering teams and external vendors, shaping architecture, automation, and reliability of our cloud‑native applications.

Key responsibilities

• Lead implementation of CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and IaC practices.
• Design, develop, and maintain Java‑based microservices, RESTful APIs, and data structures.
• Build and support front‑end interfaces using React or Angular.
• Define and enforce secure coding standards, conduct functional, performance, and security testing.
• Manage containerised deployments with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and OpenStack.
• Perform code reviews for internal engineers and external vendors.
• Set up observability tools such as Grafana and the ELK Stack, and handle operational backlogs.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Hands‑on experience building enterprise Java applications.
• Proven track record with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Experience working in cloud‑native environments and DevOps practices.
