Junior DevOps Engineer

About the role

Capgemini is seeking a motivated Junior DevOps Engineer to join its technology team. This entry‑level position is ideal for candidates who are passionate about automation, cloud infrastructure, and continuous improvement, and who want to work closely with development and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across environments.
• Support cloud infrastructure management on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Automate routine tasks using scripts and configuration‑management tools.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve application scalability and reliability.
• Maintain documentation for systems, processes, and deployments.
• Ensure system security and follow best practices in infrastructure management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in DevOps, system administration, or a related role.
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems.
• Knowledge of version‑control systems such as Git.
• Basic scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Understanding of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication abilities.
