Junior EFX Dealer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior EFX Dealer to join our Global Markets/Treasury team. The role provides hands‑on exposure to electronic FX trading, market analysis, and the chance to drive automation and process improvements in a fast‑moving dealing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily FX trading operations across major currency pairs.
• Monitor market movements, economic developments, and news flows that affect FX markets.
• Assist dealers with pricing, trade execution, and trade monitoring.
• Maintain electronic trading platforms and ensure smooth execution workflows.
• Identify and implement efficiency gains through automation and technology solutions.
• Develop simple tools or scripts for reporting, monitoring, and process improvement.
• Perform daily reconciliation, reporting, and administrative tasks.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, risk policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with Operations, Risk, and IT teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of FX markets and foreign exchange products.
• Strong interest in financial markets, electronic trading, and automation.
• High attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• CMFAS and FMRP certifications are a plus.
• Prior internship or experience in Treasury, Global Markets, or FX dealing is advantageous.

Required skills

• Python (or other scripting languages).
• Microsoft Excel.
• Bloomberg terminal knowledge.
• Familiarity with APIs and data‑analysis tools.
