Junior Manual Tester – Singapore (6-month contract)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Junior Manual Tester to join our Quality Assurance team in Singapore on a six‑month contract. You will test web, mobile and desktop applications, identify defects and ensure software meets functional and quality standards before release.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze business and functional requirements to create effective test scenarios and test cases.
• Perform manual testing of web, mobile, and desktop applications.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity, and user acceptance testing (UAT) support.
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects using bug‑tracking tools.
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve reported issues.
• Validate bug fixes and perform regression testing.
• Prepare test reports and communicate testing progress to stakeholders.
• Ensure software quality standards are met before production deployment.
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a QA perspective.
• Maintain test documentation and update test cases as applications evolve.

Required profile

• 1–4 years of manual software testing experience.
• Strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Good analytical and problem‑solving abilities with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation.
• Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman (advantage).
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• ISTQB certification is a plus.
