Junior Project Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Project Engineer to join a world‑leading industrial gases company on a 1‑year contract. You will work on‑site in Singapore, supporting the delivery of process‑plant and EPC projects while gaining hands‑on experience in installation coordination and project monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily site activities, including installation works and liaison with consultants, main contractors and subcontractors.
• Monitor project progress and schedules to ensure timely completion.
• Review project drawings and specifications, providing technical input for mechanical design and installation.
• Coordinate site safety requirements, work permits and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Assist with tender documentation, procurement, budgeting and cost estimation.
• Attend project meetings, prepare progress reports and support the Project Manager.
• Coordinate vendors during equipment installation, testing and commissioning.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment.

Required profile

• Higher NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical or related engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in project supervision and site installation coordination.
• Experience in process plants, EPC or industrial construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret P&ID, PFD, piping layouts, pipe supports and mechanical installation drawings.
• Familiarity with electrical cable, trunking, fire protection and alarm system installation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project (or equivalent) and Google Workspace.
• Knowledge of Singapore and international construction and piping codes.

What we offer

• Monthly salary SGD 2,800 – 3,500
• 5‑day work week, 08:00 – 18:00
• 1‑year contract with possibility of renewal or conversion
