Junior Quant Researcher

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Quant Researcher to join our systematic trading team in Singapore. You will work on researching, developing and implementing quantitative trading strategies within our automated framework, leveraging large data sets and statistical techniques.

Key responsibilities

• Research and prototype new trading ideas and integrate them into the production system.
• Prepare and validate data pipelines and ensure all required data is ready before market open.
• Monitor strategy performance and market behavior during trading hours, making adjustments as needed.
• Analyse market structure across exchanges and asset classes to uncover opportunities.

Required profile

• Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Financial Engineering, Operations Research, Computer Science, Physics or a related quantitative field.
• Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language such as C++, Java or Python.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with teams across multiple regions.
• Comfortable working under pressure in a fast‑moving trading environment.
