Junior Software Engineer (C++, Rust, Go) – Remote to Singapore

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Software Engineer to join a leading global technology company. The position starts remotely, with the expectation to relocate to Singapore once the work permit is approved (15‑30 days). This is a long‑term contract role focused on building high‑quality, cross‑platform software.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient, secure, and reusable code.
• Create portable solutions that run on Windows and Linux.
• Apply continuous technical excellence and good design practices to reduce complexity.
• Write automated tests and support frequent releases through a CI/CD pipeline.
• Refactor, optimise, and enhance existing code, algorithms, and services.
• Promote sound engineering design, process, and quality standards within the team.

Required profile

• 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, OOP, and service‑oriented design.
• Experience working in large code bases, agile teams, and CI/CD environments (Jenkins).
• Familiarity with Domain‑Driven Design (DDD) and Test‑Driven Development (TDD) is a plus.
