Key Account Manager – Freight Forwarding & Logistics (Up to $6500)

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to lead a portfolio of IT logistics accounts in Singapore. You will act as the primary commercial contact, ensuring strong customer relationships and driving account growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of IT logistics accounts, covering relationships, rates, scope, escalations and growth.
• Take over assigned accounts from senior team members and serve as the main commercial contact.
• Onboard newly won accounts, assign ownership, introduce support teams and set up maintenance plans.
• Expand accounts through lane expansion, new geographies and value‑added services such as IOR/EOR and ITAD.
• Quote with commercial discipline, manage scope changes, monitor margins, billing and ageing receivables.
• Collaborate with sales operations and operations teams on quotations, execution and customer support.
• Maintain visibility on revenue, pipeline conversion and workload through regular forecasting and reporting.

Required profile

• 4‑5 years of account management experience in freight forwarding, logistics or supply chain.
• Exposure to IT logistics, IOR/EOR or value‑added logistics services is a plus.
• Strong customer‑facing communication skills and confidence handling commercial discussions and escalations.
• Commercially minded with solid understanding of rates, margins, contracts and negotiation.
• Organised, able to manage multiple accounts, keep CRM updated and provide reliable forecasts.
• Interest in developing specialist knowledge in IOR/EOR and IT logistics.
• Aspiration to progress towards team leadership over time.
