Key Account Manager – Marine

About the role

Hempel is seeking a proactive Key Account Manager for its Marine business in Singapore. You will be responsible for maintaining and expanding relationships with assigned maritime customers, driving profitable growth while aligning with the company’s sustainability values.

Key responsibilities

• Serve and grow assigned marine accounts, meeting individual and team sales targets.
• Build strong relationships with decision‑makers across technical, procurement and executive levels.
• Conduct customer visits, present solutions and promote Hempel’s services.
• Gather market intelligence on competitors, customer strategies and industry trends.
• Represent Hempel at industry events, shipyards and customer meetings across the region.
• Negotiate project terms (price, delivery, payment) within company guidelines.
• Prepare accurate sales forecasts, budgets and statistical reports.
• Collaborate with Technical Service, Supply Chain, Customer Care and commercial teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Maintain up‑to‑date information in the CRM system.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (preferred).
• 5‑8 years of B2B sales or account management experience, preferably in the maritime sector.
• Strong knowledge of the marine ecosystem and market dynamics.
• Organised, deadline‑driven and adaptable.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
