Kitchen Assistant

About the role

We are a Korean restaurant with multiple locations across Singapore, seeking a motivated Kitchen Assistant to support daily operations. The role involves preparing ingredients, assisting chefs, and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing ingredients for dishes according to recipes and standards.
• Support cooking tasks such as grilling, frying, boiling, steaming, and stir‑frying.
• Ensure the kitchen area remains clean, tidy, and well‑organized.
• Monitor stock levels and restock ingredients and supplies as needed.
• Accommodate special dietary requests under guidance of senior kitchen staff.
• Follow all food handling, safety, and hygiene policies.
• Perform any ad‑hoc duties assigned by the kitchen team.

Required profile

• Basic cutting skills are essential.
• Experience with wok cooking is an advantage.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexibility to handle various tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
• Willingness to collaborate with the kitchen team and contribute to a positive atmosphere.
