Kitchen Supervisor – Food Preparation & Team Lead

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Kitchen Supervisor to oversee food preparation, ensure safety standards, and lead a team in delivering high‑quality meals across our islandwide locations in Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients according to recipes, including slicing, chopping, mincing, stirring, whipping and mixing.
• Cook hot dishes by grilling, sautéing, roasting, frying and broiling, and assemble cold dishes for service.
• Maintain HACCP logs, temperature controls, proper labeling, dating and rotation of all food items.
• Develop and contribute to daily, holiday and themed menus in collaboration with senior staff.
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, storage areas and workstations, following daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
• Handle customer feedback, resolve simple complaints and refer complex issues to management.
• Manage kitchen expenses, food cost, inventory and staffing within budgetary limits.
• Supervise shift work, ensuring compliance with food safety and health regulations.

Required profile

• Experience in a kitchen environment with the ability to lead a team.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation and HACCP procedures.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Good communication skills for handling customer feedback and staff coordination.
